Special Training
Some students in the art, if it is appropriate for them, may learn chi gung exercises and internal techniques that others may not. These exercises usually start out as breathing patterns that lead the students concentration throughout the body in prescribed paths.
This is done usually after the student has reached a high level of understanding in the art.
Nei Gung training may also be taught to selected students where dynamic tension exercises and hardening of the body is used for development as a fighter.
Other training may include stance training on logs buried at different levels in the ground for balance and leg strength.
Running, jumping rope and other aerobic exercises may be used to increase stamina for fight training.
Sit ups, legs raises and leg crunches may be used for strengthening the stomach muscles.
