Snake

In Chi Ling Pai®, Snake is the very center of the system. Much like the dragon, the snake is coiling and uncoiling mass that travels in a circular motion.
There are really two levels of snake, The more advanced internal style that involves Bagua and the Snake techniques that the student will learn in Chi Lin basics. Both eventually are combined to complete the syle.
In Chi Ling Pai, Snake is taught only to experienced students. It is the key to unlock the basics and enable the student to really fight with the art.
It is this aspect of the martail arts that is missing in many schools today. They art they practice is wonderfull and full of knowledge but they don't know how to fight with it.
In Chi Lin it is the understanding of Snake that can enable the fighter to use the skills taught to them in combat.
